Patrick Timothy Crerand  (*  19th of February  1939  in  Glasgow ), nicknames:  Paddy,  Pat, is a former  Scottish  Soccer player  and  -trainer .

After six years with  Celtic FC  moved to Crerand in 1963  Manchester United . Five years after the  Airplane tragedy in Munich  he made his debut for the English. He was a very tough defensive midfielder. It was said that despite players like  George Best  or  Bobby Charlton  Crerand would be the heart of the team.

He was champion with Manchester in 1965 and 1967. Next he fetched that  english cup  1963 and the  Champions League  1968. In total, Pat Crerand played 401 times for United, scoring 19 goals.

Internationally he played 16 times for the  scottish national football team . Crerand is  Irish  Parentage, but he chose to play for Scotland.
